Chicken noodles

For some strange reason, I felt like noodles today, and someone has previously requested for me to make an easy noodles dish, so here it is :)

  • Skill level: Easy
  • Serves: 4 people
  • Prep & cooking time: 45 mins
What you will need:

2 tbsp vegetable oil
2 boneless chicken, cut into strips
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
2 medium onions, cut into slices (spring onions is best)
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 small red peppers, sliced
310g bag beansprouts
990g straight to the wok egg noodles (2 x 495g bags)
8 tbsp soy sauce (I used reduced salt version)
5 tbsp water

How to make:

1) Heat the vegetable oil in a wok (or a large pot if you do not have this), then add the chicken and cook for 5 mins until the chicken changes colour

2) Add the salt and black pepper, then mix in the onions, garlic and red peppers and leave for another 3-5 mins

3) Add the beansprouts and egg noodles, alongside the soy sauce and water, and mix well for a further few mins. Check to see if it needs any extra salt or soy sauce, then serve immediately

I changed a lot in this recipe, I have shared my version with you. Alhamdulilah it was delicious, quick and very filling. Enjoy :)
