Greek Pastitsio (layered pasta with meat and bechamel topping)

I love pasta and bechamel sauce, so this really appealed to me. It is almost like a lasagne - but in a different sort of way. It tasted absolutely delicious mashAllah!!! I really recommend this to everyone! Ingredients are easy to find and the process is not difficult.

Sweet yet tangy tomato sauce with chicken

This is an easy and super delicious dish I made using ingredients I already have in the kitchen. I kind of gave it a Moroccan twist by adding raisins (because I love raisins and thought it would go well with this dish) and sugar to give it that sweetness, yet pomegranate syrup to give that tangy kick. Just the smell from this dish made my dad come to the kitchen to 'taste test' it :D

Chicken pad thai

A dear friend requested I make pad thai, a very popular Thai dish. One of the good things about pad thai is its adaptability, you may wish to substitute chicken for prawn, beef or tofu. It is a quick delicious dish, bursting with flavours!

Karnı yarık (stuffed aubergines)

I have been meaning to make a Turkish dish for a long time, and finally I managed to make it today on my day off (alhamdulilah for new years holiday). This dish is so easy to make, and so full of flavour and yumminess, maybe the fact that I love aubergines has an affect! It is a popular Ottoman dish, and I can understand why its a favourite amongst the Turkish people.
