Red cabbage salad - Lebanese style

During my visit to Lebanon, from amongst all the delicious food we ate, this red cabbage salad stood out! Yes, I know, how strange that out of all the food, a salad caught my attention! I guess it is because it wasn't something I had tried before, and I really liked it once I did. So when I got back, I made it the way I had eaten it back home. 


  • Skill level: Easy
  • Serves: 7+ people
  • Preparation time: 5-10 mins
  • Cooking time: NONEEE :)
What you will need:

1/2 of a large red cabbage, finelyyyyy chopped
2 tomatoes, chopped
2 inches cucumber, chopped
1/2 lettuce, finely chopped
1 tbsp dried mint
handful of chopped parsley
juice of 2 small lemons
2 tbsp olive oil (adjust according to taste)
salt to taste

How to make:

1) Add all the ingredients above into a serving dish, and mix well

2) Adjust the lemon juice, olive oil and salt according to your taste



It is that simple! Absolutely delicous, easy and refreshing!
