This is a delicious, straight forward dessert, which is a cross between a cake and an apple crumble. So quick yet so delicious!
- Place the sliced apples in a deep dish (pick a size depending on the quantity of apples used)
- In a bowl, add the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Add the egg and beat in, followed by the butter
- Place the mixture over the apples and try your best to form an even smooth topping. Sprinkle the cinnamon on top
- Place in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 30-40 mins, then remove and leave to cool for at least 10 mins (if you can resist)
Serve with ice cream, custard, chocolate topping, cream, whatever tickles your taste buds, and enjoy :))
